More N-N-November Fun! (Week of 11/12/19)

We had another fun weekin the Pre-K 4s with Ms. Julie and Mrs. Horton!

We had the day off on Monday for Veterans Day, and started off on Tuesday with a rehearsal for our Thanksgiving Program in the Church, followed by Music in the Church with Ms. Kathleen!

When we got back to the classroom we learned about the Letter Nn and the sound it makes and made Name Necklaces at Center Time!

At our second Circle Time on Tuesday, we had our Big Event Nn!  We could wear a n-n-nightgown (if we wanted!), found a n-n-nickel in some n-n-noodles, put it in a n-n-net carried it to our Pretend Play Center where we got to choose a n-n-necklace and eat a N-N-Nilla wafer!

Chester had another fabulous weekend with one of our friends!

The Share Bag was returned with some great items!  We read a story from the Biscuit Book Collection on Wednesday!  Thanks to all of our families for doing a wonderful job with all of our Classroom Take Home Bags!

On Wednesday, we colored Nn pictures for our journals during Table Time, and then we went right to another rehearsal in the Church.

The Alphabet Bag was returned with several Nn items:  nose, nickel and necklace!

We did the Nn page in our Journals during Center Time!

We read our Nn book and thought of many words that started with the n-n-n sound and wrote them on our big pad of paper!

On Thursday, we made Christmas Cards for Soldiers (WIPP's December Charity!). We read Pete the Cat: The First Thanksgiving, and we also started working on our Native American Instruments by painting with Q-tips!  We will finish these this week and then the kids will get to take them home!

We are thankful for each other!

On a rainy Friday, we continued working on the Letter Nn AND practicing our names and numbers!  We made our very own Number Books!  We traced the number, then stamped the page with some new letter stampers.  Some friends added fingerprints (or eraser prints if they didn't want to get their hands messy!), too!

We continue to have fun at Table Time, during Center Time and doing our weekly jobs!

Thanks for the donations for Second Harvest Food Bank!  We will be collecting through Monday, November 18th if you would like to contribute!

Thanks for another great week!

~Ms. Julie
