Week of November 18th!

We started this week off with another rehearsal for our Thanksgiving Program!  We are ready for the program on Friday!

At Circle Time we learned about Native American Corn!  We got to see and pass around real Native American Corn and made our own corn at Center Time using a paper bag for the husk, and legos dipped in paint for the corn kernels!  The kids loved painting with legos!

We also filled our Native American instruments with beans and will close them up so they are ready to play tomorrow!

The Share Bag was returned and great items were shared!  We read the book that was brought in at our second Circle Time!  (How Do Dinosaurs Say I Love You!)

On T-T-Tuesday, we had our Big Event Tt!  At Circle Time, we each got a red t-t-ticket with a number on it that determined the order in which we would take our turn!  Each child then pulled a blue t-t-ticket with a picture of a Tt word on it out of a t-t-tissue box!  Ms. Julie pulled matching cards from inside a t-t-tambourine and whoever had that Tt picture got to t-t-tiptoe to the T-t-twix T-t-tree and pick a t-t-tiny Twix bar for later!

At Center Time we made Turkey Handprint Cards for our parents!  Hope you like them!

We had fun exploring all of our new Tt activities:  Trains, tools, (golf) tees, playdough Turkeys, etc.!

Chester had another fun weekend and we read about all of his adventures at Circle Time!

On Wednesday, we colored Tt pictures for our Journals during Table Time and then had Spanish with Ms. Emily.

We played our Native American Instruments at Circle Time to one of our Thanksgiving Program Songs "Hey, Hey Watenay".

We completed the Tt page in our Journals at Center Time AND made our December Christmas Tree Calendars!

The Alphabet Bag was returned with three Tt items inside:  a turtle, a table and a piece of toast!  We read the Tt book from the Alphabet Bag, "When Tilly Turtle Came to Tea" and thought of words that started with Tt for our notepad!

Today, (Thursday!), we started off the morning by having music with Ms. Kathleen!  Ms. Deborah's class came to our classroom for a combined class!  We practiced for our program tomorrow (we sound fabulous!), heard the Christmas Story (the birth of baby Jesus!), and even started learning Christmas songs!

At Circle Time, we danced to a silly dance called the Tooty-Ta!  Then everyone took turns showing what they were wearing that was brown for Brown Day, and we took a Brown Day Picture outside!

 Brown Day!

At Center Time, we made Tire Track Ts!  We dipped cars, monster trucks, etc. in black paint (mud!) and made tire tracks over brown Ts that we had cut this morning at Table Time!

Thanks for all of your donations to the Second Harvest Food Bank!

We continue to have fun at Center Time,

on the playground,

and doing our weekly jobs!

The WIPP Pre-K 4 Turkeys!!!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!  We are thankful for ALL of you!
