At Circle Time before snack, we had our Big Event Ww! Ms. Julie wore a w-w-white coat, w-w-wings, and a (blue!) w-w-wig! We each got to pull a w-w-wheel out of a w-w-white bag, w-w-walk on a W (in blue tape on the carpet: down, up, down, up), w-w-wave to Mrs. Horton and eat a w-w-whale cracker, while the rest of our friends made the w-w-w sound! Some friends even wore some of the W items (if they wanted to!). So much silly fun!
We continued to enjoy playing in our new Centers and doing our new weekly jobs!
We used Jingle Bells with Magnatiles (the bells stick to the magnets on the magnatiles!) and a W-w-w-innie the Pooh playlet to make cool creations!
W-w-weighing Christmas items!
W-w-water Center!
Jobs!
On Wednesday, we colored our Ww pictures for our Journals at Table Time. We had
Spanish with Ms. Emily, and the did the Ww page in our journals at Center Time!
And more Center Time Fun!
Our Nativity Set!
A Magnatile/Winnie the Pooh Hotel with a roof top terrace and jingle bell decor!
The Alphabet Bag was returned with 3 items that start with the Letter Ww: a w-w-white colored pencil, a w-w-worm, and a w-w-water bottle! We read the Ww book from the bag, Worm's Wagon, and thought of words that start with the Letter Ww!
On Thursday, we worked on one of our Christmas surprises for Parents. Shhhhhhh!
We read the book Where the Wild Things Are about a boy named Max who has some crazy encounters with some 'Wild Things'! We know it is not real and only in his imagination!
We also have been busy practicing writing our names!
And of course, more Center Fun!
On Friday, we continued working on some Christmas surprises and writing our names. We read the book "I Went Walking" and had fun with our friends in Centers and on the playground! We changed the Question of the Day from "Are you wearing buttons?" to "Do you like watermelon?", and we got to have w-w-watermelon at snack time! Yum!
W-w-what a w-w-wonderful w-w-week!
~Ms. Julie
